What would it be like to? Flow like the waves of the sea naturally unforced with the time and rhythm of Grace. The Lord has recently brought to light how Satan uses busy work to distract and devour our time. Busy doesn’t always mean productive. If we are not fully flowing in rhythm with God’s will and plan. Life will seem forced, and heavy. Your mind and spirit will be heavy laden. It will be a hinderance as to where God wants to take you, and what God wants to accomplish in your life. The flesh constantly battles the spirit. Our will verses God’s purpose. It will seem there isn’t enough time in the day to accomplish anything. It’s hard when you are trying to work against the natural flow of something. Like fighting against gravity or the waves of the sea. It’s easier to ride the wave. God recently gave me revelation of this.

God opened my natural and spiritual eye gates to this recently. I was seeing that the time I spent working on something that God had not purposed for my life. I was putting the time in, taking away from my family, while Satan stole my joy, peace, time, and devoured my finances. In that moment I did not realize this since my focus had drifted off Jesus. Did he bless it for a time? Yes. My business was blessed for a short period of time. My money came quick and dwindled fast. I was spending hours upon hours working from my phone. He recently showed me my screen time. It was astounding as to the time that was spent not being present. Surfing a virtual world and posting on social media. The amount of time spent I could have taken a flight to Africa. Or flown somewhere in 12 hours and returned within the next 12. The will of my flesh was costing me my creative talent, time spent with the father, and my God given purpose.

During this time my creative talents wasn’t being used. My meditation time with God was nonexistent. The busyness drowned out the small still voice of God. Therefore, I had entered into a creative dessert, and lack of inspiration. My talent seemed like a dry well that wasn’t flowing. This is how I realized that apart from the father we can do nothing. He is our inspiration; he helps creativity to flow from our hand. He makes our talent possible for our purpose and uses it to impact lives for the kingdom of heaven. Let God reveal his purpose for you. Be still, strip off the weight of heaviness, and find where your passion lies. What do you love doing? Then you will find peace and purpose in it. A peace that surpasses all understanding, you will have alone with, the unforced rhythms of grace.

When things are done Gods way, with the unforced rhythms of Grace, you peacefully flow alone side with God. You are more fulfilled, you accomplish more gracefully, and you have peace while doing it. The yoke is easy, and the burden becomes so much lighter. You begin to live like God intended freely, and lightly. As it refers to in the message version of scripture Matthew 11:29-30 Jesus says, “Come to me….Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly”. I began to make time for the father again and seek his will and purpose for my life.

I began prioritizing my time and spending more time in mediation with the Father. It’s in the prayer closet where the voice of God is more easily recognized, and answers begin to be revealed. I began to put him first. My days began to gracefully flow with more peace, rest, happiness, and joy. God’s way is so much better than yours or mine. His ways are higher, and he knows what’s best for your life. My accomplishments increased and time was added. I began pouring more of my time into what I love which is writing. God began revealing more of his plan and purpose for my life. I began to see the God vision that was intended for my life. Step out in Faith toward your God vision, and he will reveal each step of the way. Stand on the scripture as in Psalm 37:5 “Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

Begin to rest by walking with the Father, and he will lead you to live in the unforced rhythms of Grace. Living freely, and lightly!
