Opportunity Of Time and Chance
Do not be confused or tossed to and from like the wave of the sea. Just as
the surfer who goes out to look for a wave to catch. There is only a certain period
for that wave then it is soon come and gone. Scripture says in Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. There are windows of opportunity; Opportunity of time and chance is all around us which one will you take? I believe you must be insightful as to where the holy spirit is taking you in order to fulfill.
your purpose that God has for you. Hinse the opportunity of time and chance.
Will the choice you make drive you closer to God and cultivate the plan and
purpose he has for your life. Or will it drive you further away from His plan?
Distancing you from God and consuming most of your time. If that opportunity
consumes all your time; Where does that leave time for Jesus during your day?
“Apart from the vine we can do nothing” as it states in John 15:5. Will you do
what is ordinary and what you think people expect you to do? Or will you trust
the guidance of the holy spirit, take a leap of Faith, and go toward Gods
opportunity he has for you.
As it states in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NLT “For everything there is a season, a
time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A
time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time
to tear down and a time to build up. A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time
to grieve and a time to dance. A time to scatter stones and a time to gather
stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away. A time to search and a time
to quit searching. A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear and
a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak. A time to love and a
time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace.”
Know when to dance, and when to stop searching. Let the voice of the Lord
direct your steps. Don’t take too long to decide for with every window there
is a frame and a season for a short period of time. Your opportunity could be
shorter than you think so seize and embrace what God has for you in this
season.
Has the Lord spoken, and directed your path? Don’t doubt the small still
voice but follow the path of peace He has for your life. If you have peace stay
on that road. It won’t make sense to the natural mind, but trust God’s
opportunity he knows best. As it states in Matthew 7:11 “If you then, who
are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your
Father, who is in heaven, give good things to those who ask him!” God’s plan for
your future is brighter than the one you have imagined or planned.
Don’t let the enemy push you
toward dead-end opportunities offered by this world. The world’s ways are not
God’s ways, His ways are higher, than we can comprehend. The opportunities of
the world may be lavish, exquisite, large salaries, fine wines, and dinners but
with them strings are attached. They may require you to work more on Sundays or
work your network on a 24/7 bases. You will have pressures, deadlines, business
meetings, and all your time will be consumed with nothing but work. Do not let
the bait for more money or wealth divide and still your time with precious
loved ones. Whereas with God’s plan you will be led by a spirit that ensues
your direction with peace, and you will find a fullness and a yarning desire to
pursue that purpose to the finish.
You will have more than enough time if God is first in your day, and all
other things such as your time with God, reading, worshiping, family and work;
will fall into place. You will know that you have found your purpose, when you
are ignited like a fire with a yarning desire, to fulfill that passion. Your
heart is full, it brings joy to your soul, and you have peace like no other.
Just as it says in Matthew 6:33 NCV “Seek first God’s kingdom and what God
wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well. Trust the process, take
the road less followed, and fulfill your purpose. What is the purpose God is
calling you to today?
