Don’t Stop Dreaming and Never Lose Sight of Your…
“Without a Vision My People Perish”
It’s never too late to dream again! Don’t stop dreaming. When I was younger, I had no direction of where I was going. I went to school and completed an associate degree in Criminal Justice. Then went on to complete certificates in Cosmetology, and Phlebotomy. I never really ask God where I was supposed to go, and what my career should be. I left him out. I changed direction so many times. It was ineffective. I was never really happy in any field that I went into. So then after being dissatisfied I would move on yet to another field of work to just change directions again. It wasn’t long before I became confused, and unfulfilled.
I felt like I could have accomplished so much more. If only I had took the time to seek God for that plan. Like it says in Proverbs 16:9 “A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.” I felt like it was such a waste. But I know that God doesn’t waste anything , and it was apart of his divine direction for my life.
Then of course when I became a Mom which I wanted more than anything in this world. I was always told “When you have children your life is over, and its about them.” I’m not denying that in a since. It is hard to make time for yourself much less Dream again or try to accomplish it! But with God I’m discovering that all things are possible.
In my mid 30’s, in the midst of being a Mom, and trying to break free from past hurts. My God is showing me how to Dream Again. He’s placed a dream, and a vision within me to reach a hopeless world through birthing this blog. God won’t start a work in you that he doesn’t give you the ability to complete. Philippians 1:6 ESV says ” And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
Somewhere alone the way through all the darkness I stopped dreaming. I didn’t feel that I had any dreams left. I didn’t feel I had the means, ability or time to dream. But God doesn’t consider those things not even your bank account. But through Faith, believing, and trusting God he will bring it to pass. If you diligently seek him. I’m to learning this. I trust him, and I’m excited as to where he is taking me.
I hear the words of my Pastor resounding in my ears “that without a vision my people perish.”Proverbs 29:18 It’s vital to have a dream, a purpose, a passion in life. Its what helps to drive us and push us forward to the call of our destiny. It says in the AMP bible EPH.3:20 “Now to Him who is able to {carry out HIs purpose and} do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think {infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams}, according to His power that is at work within us.
The beginning of Ecclesiastes 5:3 says For a dream comes with much business and painful effort. Dream big we are Champions. Don’t stop believing in your dream! God is more than able.
